WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM CONSIST OF?

Pre-course: Complete resume and LinkedIn overhaul with our resume team, who have optimized over 500 cybersecurity professionals resumes (and reviewed countless others) using the process they've developed over the past 2.5+ years. Additional preparatory material includes preliminary ramp-up coursework and outreach guidance.

Comprehensive Curriculum: Technical and interpersonal-skills topics are covered alike, including preparing for the CompTIA Security + or the more advanced certification, salary negotiation, presentation and speaking skills, confidence development, and much more.

Exercises: Hands-on labs, vulnerability assessments, mock phone screens, 1-on-1 mock interviews, and more.

HOW MUCH DOES THE PROGRAM COST?

We have two different payment plans tailored to your needs:

1. $1,500 upfront + 5% of your first year's salary paid over 3 months after starting your job.
2. $5,000 upfront.

We find that by tying our success to yours, we're forced to evolve our product to ensure that you are getting job offers that you want and are excited about as fast as possible. This is why we've had payment choice #1 since the beginning of the program.
Finally, we introduced payment choice #2 for those who would prefer to pay a lower payment overall by paying for the entire program up-front

When considering the price, it is worth considering that our negotiation support alone typically yields a 5-10% base salary increase (and we can often help negotiate higher bonuses and stock options on top of that), in addition to the fact that you'll likely be getting offers that you wouldn't have otherwise received, and especially if you're unemployed and we help cut the unemployment period by even one month --

CyberAMP generally more than pays for itself.

WILL CYBERAMP HELP WITH MY JOB SEARCH?

Yes!!
At the beginning of your mentorship, we will:
- Review your resume, LinkedIn profile, and personal website
- Provide you with a handbook of tactics to optimize your progress through each stage of the job hunt, from applications to salary negotiation
- Connect you to mentees with similar technical skills and/or career goals for weekly progress tracking meetings and interview practice

During your mentorship, we will:
- Help you set (and track!) weekly goals
- Closely monitor the number of applications, interviews, and offers your receive, and reach out if we notice you're not getting the traction we expect
- Host twice-weekly office hours (on Zoom) that you can drop in on to chat with a member of the CyberAMP team and other mentees
- Host seminars on job application strategy and the current state of the job market.

WHAT'S THE STRUCTURE OF THE MENTORSHIP?

Your mentor will guide you through CompTIA cybersecurity methodologies with hands-on projects over a period of time that you'll decide on together. This is usually anywhere from 4 to 16 weeks, depending on the project and your experience level.

The mentor will provide support via office hours, project review, and general advice/guidance. CyberAMP will check in regularly to ensure things are running smoothly. You'll have access to our workspace with other mentors, mentees, and CyberAMP admins, ensuring 24/7 support.

WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT?

We treat the job search as a full-time process, and there is an expectation that our engineers spend approximately 10-20 hours per week working on job-search related activities such as attending class, working through homework, applying to jobs, company code challenges, etc. While this number may fluctuate on a engineer-by-engineer basis, our most successful graduates have spent this much time or more, and we do have certain requirements that engineer need to meet.

All of that being said, we recognize that each of our engineers have different circumstances, and we try to accommodate and tailor the program for each engineer as best we can.

WHAT DOES YOUR COMPANY DO EXACTLY?

CyberAMP is an online academy that offers hands-on training to get a job in tech sales. CyberAMPstudents are coached by trained instructors and learn cybersecurity fundamentals, hands-on experience, prepare for interviews, pass certifications, polish your resume, and get hired. 

All graduates join a community of mentors and classmates. If you apply and are accepted, you will be required to attend an online, live class, and participate in group activities.

The schedule for CyberAMP training programs is listed on our home page. At the end of the program, if you are ready for full-time work and have met all the requirements, we will help connect you with hiring companies looking to hire cybersecurity professional tech sales representatives.

CAN I ATTEND YOUR ONLINE COURSE INSTEAD?

Yes! We've worked hard to make our onsite-remote course, which is our onsite course live-streamed, just as interactive and valuable as our onsite class, and we're having great success! 

You participate right along with the class, where you can ask questions of the instructor and give answers to the instructor's questions to the class.
